Syesha Mercado

Many have speculated that Syesha Mercado may just show up at this years American Idol. Many of us believe she was handed a raw deal last year. Others believe that she just wasn't good enough to beat out the Davids. I think she was. Her voice and stage presence were much better than either David Cook or David Archuleta.

I would love to see Syesha be a judge on this years American Idol. Or even just show up and give us a couple of performances. She's very talented and I can't wait until she cuts an album.

Rumor also has it that she may be trying to become a member of an already established band. Hey, we all know there are bands out there that could use a good lead singer like Syesha Mercado! In fact, many of the old has-been bands that are trying to make a come back could user her talents. It would be awesome if she could find a start up band and throw up some free music on the Internet.

What ever she does, I wish her the best of luck. I think she's on her way to a wonderful career as an entertainer and musician. I hope she doesn't get discouraged and quit. That would be a shame. Syesha Mercado has way too much talent to just stop performing!
